All England Dance Festival Class

Our successul All England Dance Festival Class is run by Vicki-Jo and is by invitation only.  If a student shows the ability and commitment needed to succeed, they will be invited to join this demanding class.

2011 saw three of our very talented students successfully get through to the prestigious All England National Finals, held at The Peacock Theatre, London on Friday 29th July to Sunday 7th August.  

Jasmine Webb, Amy Keenan and Kai Hussain give us a taste of their experience.....

"The day of the All England finals arrived and we were all very nervous!  The Theatre was massive and looked absolutely amazing!  Once we walked in, we were given a "changing pass" which was very exciting and then what seemed like an endless maze of corridors took us to our changing rooms.

Once our make up and hair was done we followed along with other dancers to the stage door.  We waited patiently until our names and numbers were announced and then it was so nerve-wracking stepping out onto the stage and waiting for the music to start!  Our main worry was that we would get the dance wrong but we knew all we could do was try our best and SMILE!!!!! :)

It was a very enjoyable experience and we wish we could do it every year!

 Getting to the National Finals is an amazing achievement - well done to Jas, Amy and Kai!  

A special congratulations must also go to Amy Keenan who came away with third place for her National Dance.
